TOWN OPEN TRAINING SESSION ANNOUNCED

26 October 2018

Swindon Town are celebrating half-term with an open training session, inviting the local community to come and watch the team train and meet the players, as well as enjoy a variety of activities.

The open day will take place on Tuesday 30th October, starting at 10am, and the Energy Check County Ground will open its doors to for people to come and watch the players train on the pitch and take part in various fun and engaging activities.

Once the team have finished training, the club store will be open while kids can have their face painted, attempt the Rockin’ Robin challenge, and keepy-uppies as well as the opportunity to meet the players and have an #STFCSelfie, or get a picture signed by one of the first-team squad.

For some of the day’s activities, prizes will be on offer such as FIFA 19 – everyone that attends the day will also get special discounts in the club shop.

Danny Lee, Head of Ticketing said: “We’re delighted to be able to open our doors to the local community especially during half term when the next generation of Town fans are able to come and meet the team.

"We can't wait to see as many as possible at SN1 next Tuesday."
