Michael Doughty has been nomiated for the August #PFAFansAward.

Alongside Tuesday's nomination for League Two Player of the Month, Doughty has been put forward for the fans' vote.

Doughty hasc returned to the County Ground in fantastic form firing in five goals in his first five games. 

The midfielder signed permanently in the summer and, on his debut, scored a memorable hat-trick winning the game against Macclesfield with two penalties – in the 96th and 98th minute.

Doughty has since put away two spot-kicks against Lincoln City and Forest Green Rovers and provided an assist for Keshi Anderson’s goal against Crawley Town.

The other nominations include Lincoln City defender, Michael Bostwick; Tranmere Rovers’ James Norwood, Otis Khan of Mansfield Town, Colchester's Ryan Jackson and Ollie Palmer, Crawley Town striker.
