Here’s a summary of the week’s events and a look ahead to the next seven days:
FGR Game Postponed
Swindon Town’s fixture with Forest Green fell foul to the weather on Saturday. After heavy snowfall on Thursday night and throughout Friday, eight inches of snow covered the County Ground pitch and surrounding areas.
Despite valiant attempts to clear the snow from volunteers, club staff, local business and Football in the Community from the pitch, the surrounding areas of the ground proved too much to clear so the game was called off early Saturday morning.
Richie Wellens’ boys have the chance to make it three wins in a row away from home as they head to MK Dons this weekend.
No Game for the Under-18s
Every academy fixture was called off over the weekend with the Under-18s due to face AFC Wimbledon away from home.
Three New Faces at SN1 on Deadline Day
It was a busy day behind the scenes as Town looked to get three deals over the line – Kyle Bennett, Cameron McGilp and Theo Robinson all joined the club. Robinson joined on-loan from Southend United, as did Kyle Bennett but from Bristol Rovers.
McGilp moved to Swindon from Birmingham on a two-and-a-half year deal.

Sol-full of optimism about Hamlet move
Sol Pryce was the only outgoing on deadline day – he moved on-loan to Dulwich Hamlet in National League South. He made his debut from the bench and almost bagged the winner but was thwarted by Concord Rangers’ goalkeeper.
Both Joe Romanski and Jordan Edwards had their games cancelled due to the weather as they continue their loan spells at Bath City and Marlow FC respectively.
Will Henry returned to Swindon Supermarine on-loan last week but his scheduled match against Taunton also called off because of a snow-covered pitch.
