Swindon Town will open their season by travelling to newly-relegated, Scunthorpe United.
On August 3rd Richie Wellens’ side will head to Glanford Park looking for their first win on the road against the Iron since 2006.
Swindon last opened their season against Scunny back in 2014 under Mark Cooper where goals from Michael Smith and two from Massimo Luongo were enough to seal victory in the Town’s most-recent play-off year.
The Robins start their home campaign a week later against Carlisle - a repeat fixture of Wellens’ first game in charge during the 2018/19 season on 10th August.
Town’s first ever trip to Salford City takes place in mid-November as manager, Richie Wellens returns to the club he ended his career at.
The County Ground will see Boxing Day football again after a season’s hiatus as Town legend Colin Calderwood brings his Cambridge side to visit SN1 before Town travel to Port Vale on the 29th December. On New Year's Day, Swindon make the journey to Plymouth Argyle to kick off 2020.
For the second year running, Town will play Cheltenham over the Easter bank holiday - this year at home on Good Friday before travelling to Morecambe on Easter Monday.
The Town will round off their 2019/20 campaign away to Macclesfield Town.
