On the morning of Saturday’s fixture against Port Vale, a memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of our late, great manager, Danny Williams.
The service will start at 10:00 on Saturday morning at Christ Church Old Town and is open to all who wish to remember Danny.
Club Chaplain, Simon Stevenette will lead the service with our former manager’s family in attendance as well as his former players.
The book of condolence signed by many supporters already will always be at the service should anyone wish to pay further tribute.
The service falls a day after the 50th anniversary of Danny’s greatest achievement – his League Cup triumph with Town.
Anyone intending to attend is asked to turn up 10 minutes before the service start time.
