Swindon Town Football Club are proud to announce Buzz Gym as their official gym and fitness partner for the 2019/20 Season. Buzz Gym will also sponsor the iconic Town End, where their banner sits impressively along the full length of the stand.
The Town End has always had a natural “Buzz” of passionate vocal supporters; so, a perfect fit. It is a partnership, although not new, that has grown and continues to look at new and exciting ways to engage with the fan base here at SN1.
The Buzz Gym Battle is just one of the initiatives worked on with both parties fully engaged in continuing to develop fun and entertaining activity for supporters to watch at half time - together with the Club the new half-time challenge will see home and away supporters go head to head, vying to get the ball first to score against legendary Club mascot Rockin Robin.
Aligned with a gym theme, supporters will first have to skip, before being sent into a spin and then a race to the ball. Skip, spin, shoot and score (hopefully).
Buzz Gym will also be working very closely with their player ambassador Danny Rose. They were massively impressed with Danny at a Club networking event earlier this year, and they invited Danny to work closely with them all season as their ambassador, which he gladfully accepted.
They have already started working together, with one of their initiatives being to reduce the use of plastic bottles.
Buzz Gym have committed to sponsoring a healthy number of reusable bottles which the players will use on a matchday and through the week. They will also work together on a school’s programme.
Adam Stowell CEO and founder of Buzz Gyms UK Limited commented:
“Buzz Gym is very much part of the Swindon community, so sponsorship of the local football club was another step in strengthening that bond between Buzz Gym and the Swindon public. Each year our relationship with the football club grows, it’s a fantastic club with a rich history and superb atmosphere. Many of our members have now won our monthly competitions and used the hospitality on match days where former player Phil King is an incredible host – COYR”
Naturally the partnership is commercially driven, and the Club is committed to using its own superb platforms and social media channels to drive home the fantastic STFC Fan offer for affordable gym memberships.
At just £16.99 per month you can use the great facilities at Buzz Gym located in the Brunel Centre. You can claim this great partnership offer by joining online - buzzgym.co.uk using offer code STFC. Buzz Gym is not just another boring gym – so, go create a buzz and get fit at the same time.
The challenge is on for 100 town fans to sign up and to commit to getting fit. Look out for more planned activity and how Danny Rose himself could also be taking you through your paces once you have signed up as member.
Adam Wainwright, Head of Commercial at STFC said: “Buzz Gym are a respected partner that have been supporting the Club with sponsorships across the last few seasons. We met early on with a view to season 2019/20 and wanted to raise the bar in terms of the activation and creativity, so it’s not only a sponsorship but a well thought out partnership that works. The synergy with health and fitness is there for all to see and the Buzz Gym sign adorning the iconic Town End looks superb, certainly a standout.
"Along with the Town End Sponsorship, we are working closely and are both excited to be launching the half-time Buzz Gym Battle which will be good fun and give supporters the opportunity to skip, spin, shoot and hopefully score on the hallowed turf in front of the Town faithful looking on from the Buzz Gym Town End.
"There is a commercial arrangement and commitment, so we would ask supporters to back the Buzz. Town Supporters have a great offer available to them of only £16.99 per month, so hopefully our fans are in the mood to get fit and we hit the target of 100 supporters using the code STFC when signing up. If you are looking for a gym, don’t choose a boring gym – choose Buzz Gym.”
