Swindon Town are delighted to announce Taylor Curran has signed a three-year deal, keeping him at the club until June 2023.
The 20-year-old defender arrived at the club in January 2019 on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Southend United and has decided to extend his time at the County Ground even further.
The youngster made 4 appearances in all competitions last season and will be looking to break his way in to Richie Wellen’s starting eleven come the start of our League One campaign.
Upon signing his contract extension, Curran said:
“I’m obviously delighted. At first it was a scary environment, coming into a first-team but since I’ve been here the players and the staff have been great and looked after me.”
“I’m here for a while so hopefully I can push on and really get some game time and start playing in front of the fans more often.”
“The reason I decided to sign a new contract is the opportunity given at the club. Just training with the older, more experienced boys, it’s brought my game on loads and that was the selling factor.”
