Swindon Town can confirm that Eoin Doyle has been recalled by his parent club Bradford City.
Doyle joined Swindon on-loan in August and, since then, has scored 23 goals in 22 appearances in League Two helping the club to the top of the league. He is the division’s top scorer, with Jerry Yates currently in second.
The Irishman equalled club records for goals scored in consecutive games with a streak of strikes before Christmas scoring in 11 consecutive games. The final goal of his loan spell came on New Year’s Day away at Plymouth sealing three points to start 2020.
Doyle has captured the hearts of the Town faithful, being nicknamed ‘The Ginger Pele’, and the club would like to thank Eoin, of course, for his exploits on the pitch but also his professionalism and care around the County Ground. We would like to wish him all the best wherever his future lies.
