Swindon Town can confirm that Jerry Yates has been recalled by his parent club, Rotherham United.
Jerry has made 29 appearances for the club in all competitions scoring 13 goals. The 23-year-old is the second top goalscorer in the division with 12 goals behind fellow former loanee, Eoin Doyle.
Yates joined the club on-loan from the Millers in July last year and has been a key part of Town’s charge to the top of League Two.
He has quickly become a fan favourite because of his quality in the final third but, most of all, his willingness to give his all for the shirt.
We would like to thank Jerry for his service in his six months – he has been a fantastic player to watch and an excellent person to have at the club.
