Swindon Town are delighted to announce the signing of Rarmani Edmonds-Green on-loan from Huddersfield Town until the end of the season.
The young defender has spent the last three months on-loan at Bromley, who sit fourth in the National League, making nine appearances in numerous different positions.
After being recalled by Terriers boss, Danny Cowley, Edmonds-Green started two of Huddersfield’s three wins in December.
Born in Peckham, the 19-year-old was previously at the Nike Academy before moving to the Kirkless Stadium. He made ground straight away in the academy set-up and was given the role of Under-18 captain.
His first venture into senior football came in the Northern Premier League Division One East where helped Brighouse Town win the play-offs in his 13-game spell at St. Giles Road.
This season, he has continued his development in the National League under the stewardship of Neil Smith. His consistent performance in a number of positions earned him his two starts with the Terriers and caught the eye of Town manager Richie Wellens.
The Swindon boss said:
“Rarmani will an important addition for us because of the amount of different positions he can play. He’s athletic and will suit our style of play. He’s played at a good level for his age in a strong National League side and is another player that we’ll look to improve and develop.”
