Sponsored by

Swindon Town is continuing its support of the Darby-Rimmer MND Foundation by putting on sale new stock of our 2019/20 third shirt in kids’ sizes only.

Going on sale at 10:00, 12th June there is a very limited stock of each size and expected high demand. All proceeds of shirt sales will be going to the Darby-Rimmer Foundation who appear on the front of this season’s alternative shirt.

Orders will be fulfilled when staff return to the football club when it is deemed safe and responsible to do so. At this point, that date is to be confirmed. Shirt printing will not be available. Shirts are available from the club shop website from 10:00am, 12.06.2020.

- £34.99 plus postage (£4.95)

- age 7/8 up to 13/14 years

- Maximum two shirts per-customer

- online orders only

In August last year, the club announced that its third shirt would feature the charity on its front rather than mainline sponsor, Imagine Cruising who threw their wholehearted support behind the idea and charity.

Back in January, for the first time since 2010, Swindon didn’t wear red at home.  As part of our support of the Darby-Rimmer Foundation, we wore our purple third shirt against the only other club in the division for which Stephen Darby played for – that day’s opponents, Bradford City.

Stephen joined Swindon on-loan from Liverpool in March 2010 with the club fighting for promotion from League One. While his time at the club was from March until the end of the season, Stephen made 12 appearances in total, his impact was huge and he will be remembered for his winning penalty, in that year’s third kit, in the Play-Off Semi Final away at Charlton.

Stephen was diagnosed with motor-neurone disease in 2018 and has since set up the Darby-Rimmer Foundation which is seeking to raise money to help fight the disease, alongside Chris Rimmer, an ex-serviceman also diagnosed with the condition.

Shirts are available from the club shop website from 10:00am, 12.06.2020.
