Real football is all about family. That’s how it all starts. Generations of family and friends that support the same team and go to games together. It’s happened for decades and decades but it doesn’t get old or any less relevant.

That’s why the club has been working really hard on ensuring the next generation of Swindon fans is supporting their local club and showing their passion for the Town on a Saturday. The club regained its family excellence status in 2019, and since then has set up the matchday fanzone and redone the Junior Reds room, although inclement weather has put a stop to the fanzone recently.

Our first-team have been engaging with the STFC Community Foundation more than ever – all this in a bid to make sure that the County Ground is full of families on matchday.

We’ve seen so many real families show so much emotion this season and we want to keep that going. Simple as that.
