IFOLLOW AND SEASON TICKET UPDATE

18 September 2020

We would like to update supporters on a few points regarding this season.

iFollow

As you are aware, iFollow is a streaming service provided by the EFL in order for fans to watch games live whilst they are played behind closed doors. All behind closed doors SkyBet League One home games will be FREE of charge for 2020/21 season ticket holders whilst any match by match passes (including away and cup fixtures) can be purchased for £10.00 per game through the STFC iFollow site. All season ticket holders will be emailed a unique code the Wednesday / Thursday prior to the next home fixture and we urge supporters to redeem these codes asap to save a back log on match days. Visit our ifollow information page here including a step by step guide https://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/news/2020/september/ifollow-step-by-step-guide-to-access-matches/

We must stress that iFollow is not operated by STFC so any technical issues or problems with logging in, supporters can email ifollow@efl.com or use the live chat feature on match days.

2020/21 Season Tickets

In relation to 2020/21 season ticket sales, in order for the club to safely welcome back all of our season ticket holders and to comply with government guidelines and the latest COVID safe protocol, we are busy working through new temporary socially distanced seating plans for the coming season. Whilst we work through this, season ticket sales have been temporarily suspended until we have completed this, we will then be in a much better position to resume sales once we know final capacity numbers once social distancing has been adhered to. We are aiming for minimal disruption to your current seats by allocating a seat as close as possible to your original seat or the best like for like option, this of course isn’t always possible and we ask for fans patience and understanding and to not contact the club regarding this as we cannot accommodate individual requests. For clarification all families, bookings under the same name and anyone with the same address will be kept together.

To save confusion whilst we work through the plans, all purchase history available on your e ticketing account has been temporarily removed and once we have finalised the plans all loyalty points and seat details will be re-instated and updated.

The club will be communicating with supporters closer to the time when fans are able to return with their finalised seat details and we will be issuing new temporary season passes to all supporters.

Once we return to ‘normal’ whenever that will be and socially distanced seats are no longer applicable, supporters will have their original seats reserved as per normal and can then renew their seats in the usual way, so there is no need to worry about your seat being lost.

2019/20 Refunds

We have already been in contact with many fans regarding their refund requests submitted by 31st August 2020. The club is working through these as quick as possible and will be in touch with supporters in due course, so thank you for your patience and all requests will be processed.

Finally we would like to thank you for your continued support, your understanding in relation to the above is very much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you all back to the County Ground as soon as possible.

Pilot event for return of fans

After the EFL announcing they will be hosting test events whereby clubs are allowed to have 1,000 fans into the ground, Swindon have applied for this to be our EFL Trophy tie with Exeter City on October 6. Further information will be given to supporters when confirmed.
