NSBRC TO BECOME BACK OF SHIRT SPONSOR ON OUR 20/21 AWAY KIT

18 September 2020

Swindon Town are delighted to announce that our back of shirt sponsors for our away kit this season will be Swindon’s National Self Build & Renovation Centre.

The self-build visitor centre, which is unique in the UK, has flourished since turning employee-owned in 2014 and helps people design and build better homes through its range of open days, workshops and educational courses.

Adam Wainwright, Head of Commercial at the club said:

“The team at the NSBRC led by Harvey have supported us very well commercially across the last couple of seasons, but to raise the bar to this level in these unprecedented times shows remarkable commitment to the cause.

The relationship with Harvey and his staff is a great example of partnership, after building solid foundations the relationship has evolved and developed to meet both our objectives which is very true to the NSBRC ethos. Not only will NSBRC feature on the back of our shirts when the team are on their travels endeavouring to win matches, the relationship is also engrained within our very crest and is what makes our motto extremely apt at this time - Salubritas Et Industria – Health & Industry. Our community and commercial relationships like the one we have with the team at NSBRC are more important than ever as we all work together in unity to find a way out of Covid-19. But to still support each other to be the best we can be as we combat against the challenges and to remain healthy in business.

With the Football Club very much at the heart of the community, the relationship with the NSBRC is another standout example of promoting local and celebrating those businesses who not only support Swindon Town Football Club but who also work incredibly hard in challenging times to boost the local economy.

I know that Harvey is a big Town supporter, along with his young son, so this is a very special moment for the family. I believe several of the NSBRC team will be ordering away shirts, which is a further example of helping the Club financially and reinforces the commitment and their great support for the Club.

We very much look forward to working together both now and in the future for what we hope will be another successful season on the pitch – let’s keep building.”

Harvey Fremlin (Managing Director of the NSBRC) said:

“We are very excited to be partnering with Swindon Town FC, and expanding on the relationship we’ve built over the previous two seasons. The football club is at the heart of the community and we are proud to support our local team, especially in this most challenging of years. Having been a fan since attending my first match in 1986, and now sharing that love of the club with my son, it is a proud moment to see our logo on the Swindon shirt.  The blue away shirt looks fantastic and with some exciting away fixtures ahead at big grounds, it will, hopefully, become part of many happy memories for both players and fans.

The team at the NSBRC believe that everyone deserves to live in better quality homes, and we feel this partnership will allow us to reach more people who are interested in improving or extending their current home, wanting to make their properties more energy efficient, or looking for that perfect plot to build their own dream home.

We are open all year round (Tuesday to Sunday) and have worked hard to ensure our visitors enjoy a safe and relaxing visit.  We have been accredited as being ‘Good to go’ by Visit England, with a range of social-distancing and hygiene measures in place to keep our team and guests safe.

We are an employee-owned business, employing 18 people from the town and we are proud of the connection to our local football team."
