9 April 2021

While Swindon play host to second-palace Peterborough, we take a look at what to expect from the Posh on Saturday afternoon.

Town face Darren Ferguson's side with seven games to go until the end of the season and a positive result will go a very long way towards League One survival.

Peterborough hosted Town back in October when Jack Payne's early goal put the Reds in the ascendancy. A second-half brace from the League's top scorer Jonson Clarke-Harris and a late strike from Ryan Broome handed the home side the three points.

The Opposition:

Tomorrow's visitors are three points off top spot in League One with a game in hand on table-toppers Hull City. They also boast the second highest goals for in the league, again second to the Tigers.

That statistic is mainly due to free-scoring form of the aforementioned Clarke-Harris and his red-hot form in recent weeks.

The 26-year-old bagged six goals in the month of March, including a hat-trick in a 7-0 rout of Accrington Stanley nearly two weeks ago.

The Posh are unbeaten in three and suffered their last defeat against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in gameweek 36.

Following the injury to goalkeeper Christy Pym, Ferguson's side have brought in emergency loan keeper Josef Bursik from Stoke City to feature between the sticks.

Team News:

During his pre-match press conference, the Gaffer announced that Ellis Iandolo and Dion Conroy will be sidelined until the end of the season and will therefore not feature tomorrow.

Jordan Lyden will also not feature having picked up an injury against Fleetwood Town.

How To Watch:

The match will be available to live stream on iFollow STFC for a fee of £10 to those who do not have a Season Ticket.
