Take a look at a collection of images from our first home game of the 2021-22 EFL Sky Bet League Two season on Saturday!
It was a day to celebrate as nearly ten thousand fans returned to The County Ground, and there was a celebratory atmosphere throughout as new signing Jonny Williams was introduced to the bumper home crowd, while the Town End was renamed The Alan McLoughlin in memory of our much-loved former player and Head of Academy, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
There was a real battling display on the pitch by Town too, who were unlucky not to come away with a point after dominating the second-half.
Joe Riley's superb strike did give the Cumbrians the lead in the first-half, but Romoney Crichlow's first goal in Town colours restored parity.
However, Tristan Abrahams pounced just before half-time to give Carlisle the lead again, and that strike proved to be the winner despite the best efforts of the Reds who absolutely piled on in the closing stages of the game.
Our Official Club Photographer took his place at The County Ground to snap the very best of the action, which you can view in our bumper gallery above.
