Swindon Town Defender Kaine Kesler-Hayden has been called up by England U20s for their upcoming game against Romania.
New Young Lions Boss Andy Edwards has announced his first squad for the game against Romania, which will take place at St. George's Park on Monday 6 September.
Having represented his country at U19 level, Kesler-Hayden could now make his U20s debut against Romania and he will be hoping to impress Edwards and new Assistant Coach, Jason Euell.
The Young Lions haven't played an international match since October last year, and following the game against Romania, England U20s will take on Italy at St. George's Park on Thursday 7 October, before heading to the Czech Republic on Monday 11 October and to Portugal on Thursday 11 November.
On loan from Premier League outfit Aston Villa, Kesler-Hayden has impressed at SN1 so far, putting in a number of impressive performances for Ben Garner's team and flashing his huge potential.
This also isn't the first international call-up from The County Ground this week, either, after midfielder Jonny Williams was included in the Wales team for their upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
Kesler-Hayden will miss our Papa John's Trophy match against Arsenal U21s at SN1 on Tuesday 7 September, and we wish Kaine the very best of luck for his time away with England U20s.
