TEAM NEWS: Town make changes for Carabao Cup tie

Here's how the Reds will line up against Cambridge!

Swindon Town have named their Starting XI for our Carabao Cup First Round clash against Cambridge United tonight.

The Reds get their 2021-22 Carabao Cup campaign started at Abbey Stadium against League One opposition, and Head Coach Ben Garner has made six changes from Saturday's superb opening day win at Scunthorpe United.

Lewis Ward makes his Town debut in goal, while Garner has also handed debuts to midfielders Louis Reed and Ryan East.

Defender Romoney Crichlow, who made his Town bow off the bench on Saturday, makes his full debut and Jack Payne takes the Captain's armband in Dion Conroy's absence.

Tyreece Simpson again leads the line for Town following an impressive debut at the weekend and Academy Graduate Harry Parson starts, while latest addition Ricky Aguiar is among the subs.
