Swindon Town have completed the signing of winger Jordon Garrick on loan from Swansea City in a deal that has seen Kieron Freeman head to the Liberty Stadium on a permanent basis. The deal is subject to EFL and FA clearance.
Jordon signed for the Welsh side after a successful trial period having played for Northern Premier Division’s Ossett Albion.
The Jamaican made his professional debut against Northampton Town in the EFL Cup in August 2019. Since then, Garrick has featured fourteen times in the League for Swansea, scoring two goals.
The winger has describes himself as having ‘pace and skill’ and believes his background in Rugby League has helped improve his physicality whilst on the football pitch.
We would like to welcome Jordon to the Club and can’t wait for him to get started.
Going the other way, Kieron Freeman joined Swindon at the beginning of the January window and has made two appearances for the Club away at Charlton Athletic and Hull City. We wish Kieron luck for his future career.
