Swindon Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender Conor Masterson from QPR on a short-term loan deal. The deal is subject to EFL and FA clearance.
The Irish centre back becomes Town’s fourth signing of 2021, joining until the end of the season.
Masterson signed for Premier League champions Liverpool in 2015 as a trainee and made his way through the ranks, but did not feature for the first team.
He did however make the substitutes bench for their Champions League quarter-final win over Manchester City in April 2018.
The 22-year-old then signed for QPR in July 2019, where he has made sixteen Championship appearances.
Conor has also represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 17, 19 and 21 level.
We wish Conor the best of luck during his time at the County Ground and we look forward to seeing him pull on a Town shirt.
