Season Tickets 2021/22

24 July 2021

As much as this is a period of hope and optimism, I must also face reality and acknowledge that my team and I have inherited a club that requires a significant rebuild.

As part of my continued commitment to financial transparency and openness, the scale of the inherited challenges will be shared with you all in due course and when we have fully assessed the situation.

Don’t be alarmed – we will work through each challenge we’re faced with quickly and thoroughly and won’t rest until we get this club to where we all want it to be.

One of the most pressing inherited issues is, of course, season tickets – both in terms of a solution for the unique problems faced last year and in terms of season tickets for the coming season.

Unfortunately, the investment so many of you made into Swindon Town in the spring of 2020 for your season tickets for last season is no longer in the club.

But the team here have created a set of options that I hope will reward the debt Swindon Town has to you all as loyal fans.

Season Ticket Options for 2021/22

After consultation with TrustSTFC and the Official Supporters’ Club, we are keen to recognise the faith and support you have all shown me and the new management team.

We want to reward the loyalty of existing season ticket holders and attract plenty more too, so we are offering reduced season ticket prices for all renewals and all new season tickets for the new campaign.

  • Side stand renewals and new season tickets will be reduced by £30
  • Town End renewals and new season tickets will be reduced by £20
  • Concession renewals and season tickets will also be reduced by £20
  • U21 and U18 renewals and new season tickets will be reduced by £10

Full pricing and details for 2021/22 season ticket can be found here.

To be clear – all 2020/21 season ticket holders will have their chosen seat available to them to renew for this season.

Target 6k

We want to rebuild this club together – as staff, players, fans, the community and the whole region of Swindon and beyond. The club needs you and your investment in season tickets to drive us forward and fuel the rebuild our club so dearly needs.

I’ve always aimed high, and this is no different. We want 6,000 season ticket holders for the new season, and I know the club’s huge potential can deliver that backing.

If we hit this target, every home game will feature a random draw for a once-in-a-lifetime, free “Director for the day” experience, including four free tickets.

So, tell your friends. Tell your family. The fans have their club back and it’s time fo fulfil the potential we all know this club and town have.

How to Buy

The club will announce early next week the on-sale dates for season tickets. We will also be able to offer the finance option via V12 allowing supporters to pay for their season ticket monthly. Due to timescales, this option will be made available shortly after the initial on sale.

Fans can now buy their 2021-22 Season Tickets online here.

How to Renew

For those Town fans wishing to renew their Season Tickets for the 2021-22 season, we have created a helpful step-by-step guide on how to do so, which you can view by clicking here.

Refunds

As much we would encourage everyone to waive requests for refunds given the situation the club finds itself in, we know that for some people, this won’t be an option.

Therefore, a full refund of any season ticket for last season is available, less the cost of an iFollow membership (£230).

Due to the various inherited financial issues we’re tackling, refunds cannot be paid immediately but we commit to paying any requested refunds no later than January 2022.

This last 18 months have been hard for everyone – we do not want anyone suffering further hardship so please make the right decision for you. We will share further details on how to claim a refund in the coming days.

Onwards and upwards

This club belongs to you all and I promise all new money coming into the club will go exactly where it should go – to back the management team in getting the players we need to compete and to rebuild the infrastructure at SN1.

I have fully committed to investing my own money into Swindon Town, and to be completely transparent about the financials here. I hope you’ll join me and invest in a season ticket, convince others to get us to 6k and really raise the roof at the County Ground this season.

We are all in this together and I’m excited to see where we can take this great club.
