Swindon Town Women's Midfielder Megan Attenborough can't wait for her team to showcase what they do best this weekend.

It is a big weekend for Swindon Town Women who take on Exeter City Women at The County Ground on Sunday 31st October - 2pm Kick-Off.

With the Football Club committed to supporting our Women's team as much as possible, this won't be the only time the team showcase their talents on the hallowed turf either.

And, as a result, Attenborough is now relishing the opportunity to play in-front of what is hoped to be a big crowd at SN1 this Sunday.

"We're excited. It hasn't happened for a long time so it is good that we're getting a chance to promote ourselves in Swindon and get fans from Swindon to come and see us play," Attenborough told swindontownfc.co.uk.

"That will hopefully lead to more games at The County Ground and it should be a good game!

"Hopefully this is a small step in the right direction of becoming one club and all being part of Swindon Town.

"Things haven't been in our favour so far this year. We've had a lot of injuries which have impacted the team, results haven't gone our way for one reason or another and this is like the start of the season for us again.

"It is a chance to play like we know how to and getting back to winning ways. We know we can and it is just putting it all together again.

"Come watch us play, come support us and we will play for you. We don't want you to come just to this one game, we want more people at our other home games and the more people who start supporting us, that will hopefully lead to more games at The County Ground.

"We want to promote ourselves and show what we can do. We're here to show up and show out."
