Swindon Town Football Club teamed up with Stronghold Global Ltd to hand out free tickets to local schoolchildren for our upcoming home game against Rochdale.
The Reds entertain The Dale at The County Ground on Saturday 16th October, with another bumper crowd expected at SN1.
And the next generation of Reds fans will be in attendance thanks to Stronghold Global Ltd, who joined forces with the Football Club to hand out free tickets to Drove Primary School.
A selection of children from Drove were in attendance at Foundation Park on Thursday afternoon for a PE lesson, and they were given an opportunity to ask questions to Town’s Director of Football, Ben Chorley.
After asking questions to Ben, ranging from how many goals he scored in his career to how many red and yellow cards he amassed, the children were then presented with their free tickets by Stronghold Global Ltd, along with Town CEO, Rob Angus and Head of Commercial Danny Lee.
It continues the club's commitment to engaging with the local community and local schools, and Stronghold Global have been a great support in our drive to encourage the next generation of football fans to support their local team.
Town's Head of Commercial, Danny Lee, said: "It is fantastic for our partners Stronghold Global to join us in supporting the community in inspiring the next generation of Town fans. We are extremely keen for all our sponsors to not only work with the club, but on projects and initiatives like this. I would personally like to thank Roddy Turner and all the team at Strong Hold Global for their support."
Roddy Turner, Director of Sales at Stronghold Global, said:
“It’s great to give back to the Swindon community and attract some new fans to Swindon Town Football Club that might not get the opportunity to enjoy live football at the County Ground.
“We are proud that Stronghold Global can offer our support within Swindon and we are so pleased to help the club and community to continue to grow together.”
We would like to thank Stronghold Global for their support in helping us to attract the next generation of Swindon Town fans, and we hope all those who received tickets have a great time at The County Ground next weekend!
