TEAM NEWS: Town remain unchanged for Rovers clash

Here's how the Reds line-up at The Mem today

2 October 2021

Swindon Town Head Coach Ben Garner has named an unchanged Starting XI for today's local derby against Bristol Rovers.

With kick-off set for 3pm at The Memorial Stadium, the Reds will line-up as they did in last week's 0-0 draw with Colchester United.

Jojo Wollacott starts in goal, Romoney Crichlow, Dion Conroy, Akin Odimayo, Ellis Iandolo and Kaine Kesler-Hayden make up the back-five, Louis Reed sits in a holding midfield role and Ben Gladwin, Jack Payne and Alex Gilbert give No. 9 Tyreece Simpson plenty of attacking support.

Also, the Reds have plenty of strong options on the bench with Jonny Williams among the subs after recovering from concussion.

Here's how both teams line-up in full:

SWINDON TOWN STARTING XI - Wollacott; Odimayo, Iandolo, Conroy (C), Crichlow, Gladwin, Simpson, Payne, Gilbert, Kesler-Hayden, Reed.

SUBS - Ward, Baudry, McKirdy, Mitchell-Lawson, Williams, Hunt, East.

BRISTOL ROVERS STARTING XI - Belshaw; Kilgour, Finley, Coutts (C), Taylor, Anderson, Evans, Harries, Whelan, Brown, Pitman.

SUBS - Ward, Westbrooke, Collins, Anderton, Saunders, Spence, Hoole.
