Swindon Town Football Club are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join the team at the Football Club.

Job Title: Receptionist
Salary: Dependant on skills and relevant experience
Location: Swindon County Ground
Closing date: Friday 5th November
Contract type: Permanent (Full Time – Min 40 hrs/week) a flexible approach to working hours will be required as this role requires working on home match days or evenings.

Description:

This role will be responsible for delivering a professional and first-class welcome to the Club's staff, guests and visitors. Based at the County Ground Stadium the Receptionist will be responsible for delivering a professional and first-class welcome to the Club/Stadium staff, guests, and visitors. The successful candidate will become the welcoming face of the venue, delivering a service that is consistent with the high standards of this club. The postholder will be additionally responsible for providing administrative support to the Club.

We're looking for candidates who can multi-task and prioritise, combining the ability to deliver a smooth front of house service whilst also possessing high level administration skills. Dealing with queries as well as directing customers to the right member of staff will be a key part of this role. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, understand the confidential and discreet nature of the role and be able to demonstrate their experience of working in a similar team environment. As the Club moves forward, we are keen to hear from you if you have the experience and energy to help build new ways of working whilst providing an unbeatable experience for all those who visit the County Ground.

Skills:

  • High levels of professionalism and integrity
  • An excellent team player, work in the spirit of a ‘team’
  • Self-motivated and energetic with strong communicating skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Have a flexible approach to work and the ability to work weekends and evenings
  • Sound IT/Computer skills
  • Interest and background in the football/sports/leisure industry would be advantageous
