Club Statement On Standing In Don Rogers Stand

2 September 2021

Swindon Town Football Club would like to issue the following statement in relation to standing in The Don Rogers Stand.

We have been alerted to the fact that there are a considerable amount of people who have stood at the front of the Don Rogers Stand in our opening home fixtures this season, thus impacting the enjoyment of the game of others.  It has also led to concerns from safety authorities which could ultimately impact the capacity that we are allowed into the Don Rogers stand.

Also, there has been damage caused to the Disabled Seating as a result of people standing and pounding on the top of the coverings, which isn’t acceptable.

We would like to advise fans that standing at the front of the Don Rogers Stand is not permitted as it causes a safety issue due to overcrowding in small and relatively steep areas, and we want everyone in the Don Rogers Stand to be able to enjoy the game in a safe environment.

We would like to remind fans that standing in the Don Rogers Stand is not permitted.
