Jack Payne's stoppage time penalty rescued a richly-deserved point for Swindon Town in what was a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at Stevenage on Saturday.
It was a really impressive first-half performance by the Reds as Harry McKirdy, Tyreece Simpson and Jack Payne all went close to opening the scoring, while Jojo Wollacott pulled off a stunning save to keep the scores level.
Town were hit with a sucker-punch early in the second-half, however, as Ben Coker pounced on a mistake to give Stevenage the lead against the run of play.
The Reds never gave up though and, after debutant Jayden Mitchell-Lawson was brought down inside the area, Payne kept his cool to step up and smash home a stoppage time penalty to rescue a well-deserved point for Town.
