Swindon Town put on a magnificent display to defeat league leaders, Forest Green Rovers 2-1 in the EFL Sky Bet League Two.
The Reds were able to net two impressive goals. Town cut through the Forest Green press, which resulted in Louie Barry converting a Harry McKirdy cross in the 15th minute. Jack Payne was able to add to this lead, netting a 20-yard strike in the 40th minute, seeing Town enter the half-time break 2-0 up.
The fabric of the game substantially changed when Ellis Iandolo picked up a second yellow card in the 53rd minute. Following this, Forest Green were able to get back into the game through a Josh March strike in the 69th minute. Town were able to hold on, however, defending valiantly to claim all three points.
