This role sits within our First-Team Performance Analysis department, who are responsible for conducting in depth analysis and delivering feedback and support to players, coaches and the wider multidisciplinary staff.

Main duties and responsibilities…
- A non-exhaustive list of essential regular tasks and processes to be followed as part of daily, weekly and seasonal life within the club.
- Support the Performance Analysis department in providing performance analysis support to the first team players, coaches and staff. This will include training analysis, pre-match planning and post-match feedback/feedforward.
- Produce post-match reports for the first team, maintaining databases throughout the season.
- Provide innovative, project-based exploratory analysis to the first-team programme.
- Liaise with all relevant staff, where appropriate, to ensure that information, relevant to duties, is communicated effectively.
- Adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Swindon Town Football Club and its operations.
- Be presentable at all times when working and demonstrate you can represent the club in the manner expected.
- Be an advocate of the club’s vision and values at all times.
Essential skills required:
- Educated to degree level, preferably in Performance Analysis or Sport Science.
- Experience of working in a sporting environment to provide Performance Analysis support and delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of Apple iWork and Microsoft Office software packages.
- Ability to communicate complex data to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and understanding of the demands of the role.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable skills required:
- Experience using performance analysis software including Sportscode, Studio, Hudl & Statsbomb.
- Ability to implement a variety of feedback techniques into complex sporting environments.
- Level Two FA Coaching qualification.
