Swindon Town are hiring an executive to assist with our commercial division. This opportunity will be suited to a confident communicator, someone who is highly organised and can think and act on their feet to meet the demanding needs of the evolving business side to the club.
This role will involve:
- Maintain copies of all commercial deals and payment terms
- Maintain commercial inventory and keep up to date what has and hasn’t been sold
- Manage commercial debtor position
- Ensure all signage and other assets are produced in line with commercial agreements
- Ensure that all EFL requirements re signage and assets are delivered on time and to the right standard
- Be an initial point of enquiry for commercial enquiries
- Support CEO, Technical Director and Financial Controller on all Commercial and Partner discussions and agreements
The successful candidate must:
- Be able to drive Commercial sales and agreements, develop new business as well as harnessing existing relationships
- Have a strong commercial knowledge of the business and the key drivers of revenues, margins, costs and budgets
- Be responsible for meeting budgeted sales target and the sale and co-ordination of all stand, kit, match sponsorships and iFollow commercial relationship. Also drive ‘partner’ opportunities and set out a ‘partner’ strategy working with Senior Management Team
- Take accountability for the sale of and co-ordination of all player sponsorships and matchday hospitality packages
- Be responsible for the sale and co-ordination of all website and matchday program advertising
- Take responsibility for the sale of all executive packages and suites
- Be an integral part of matchdays ensuring engagement with the club’s commercial partners and sponsors to ensure all their matchday needs are met
- Be accountable for the advertising boards and digital board advertising sales
- Be responsible for the sale of the Academy sponsorships
- Ensure strong negotiation skills are used to develop agreements and contracts with major brands, national and local businesses
- Take responsibility for maintaining good relations with all the club’s commercial partners and sponsors
- Be responsible for liaising with and handling all EFL commercial matters
- Maintain copies of all commercial deals and payment terms
