FA Statement in wake of Tranmere V Town

11 February 2022

Tranmere Rovers FC and Swindon Town FC have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 following their game on Tuesday [08/02/22] in the EFL League Two.

It is alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players and/or club officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour during the 84th minute.

In addition, Swindon Town FC’s assistant manager, Scott Marshall, has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 as his behaviour at the same time in that game allegedly amounts to improper conduct.

Tranmere Rovers FC, Swindon Town FC and Scott Marshall have until Wednesday [16/02/22] to provide their respective responses.
