Swindon Town forward Harry McKirdy has been nominated for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month Award for January.
McKirdy was simply on fire throughout the month of January, opening the month in style by putting four goals past Northampton Town on New Year's Day.
The energetic forward followed that up with three more goals to make it a stunning total of seven goals in five league games, while he also scored a memorable goal in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round against Manchester City.
McKirdy wowed Town fans with his ability to run at defences and make something happen out of nothing, and his sparkling form in January earned him a brand new contract.
He is now in double figures in scoring for the season and his outstanding performances in January will live long in the memory of Town fans, who have embraced McKirdy as one of their own.
McKirdy faces stiff competition for the award from Newport County striker Dom Telford, Jordan Bowery of Mansfield Town, Stevenage's Jake Taylor and Forest Green Rovers duo Mathew Stevens and Jamille Matt.
