Swindon Town Head Coach Ben Garner has provided the latest fitness updates on Dion Conroy, Jack Payne and Ben Gladwin ahead of the weekend.
The Reds take on Salford City at The County Ground on Saturday -3pm Kick-Off - and, at his pre-match press conference earlier today, Garner gave an injury update
"No fresh injuries, everyone has come through Tuesday night great," Garner said.
"Dion Conroy has returned to full training, so he’s up to speed now and becomes available.
"Jack Payne is progressing and improving day by day, he’s making good progress now so we just carry on with that
"For the injury, he’s probably still ahead of schedule of where he should be, but he was ahead of schedule quite a bit early on, and it’s just been this final stage that has taken longer, so more a bit of patience on his part than ours, but he was in a much better place yesterday in terms of his positivity and coming through the session.
"So, like I say, we just have to keep working hard but do so with patience and make sure that we’re ticking the right boxes and he comes back strong and fully fit.
"He’s done a little bit (of contact training), he’ll come into some more contact stuff now, we’ll build him a little bit more today and we’ll build that again next week and get him to a stage where he’s happy with everything he has to do in a game situation.
"For Ben Gladwin, it was a grade two hamstring, so he’s progressing well, he’s worked hard so far and we’ll just rehab that and get him back as quick as we can."
