Swindon Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Brandon Cooper from Swansea City.
The talented defender arrives on loan at The County Ground for the remainder of the 2021-22 EFL Sky Bet League Two season.
Established as a ball-playing centre-back, Cooper leads out Wales U21s and has also earned a call-up to the senior side.
With Swansea City since the age of 6, Cooper progressed through the ranks of their academy and recently penned a contract extension through 2024.
The 22-year-old has experience of EFL football having had loan spells with Yeovil Town and Newport County, being crowned the EFL Sky Bet League Two Young Player of the Month Award for October 2020.
Town’s Director of Football, Ben Chorley, said: “We’re delighted to get Brandon with the group. He comes with great pedigree.
“Another that’s played games at a higher level this season.
“He’s vocal, leads and comes from a club that has a very similar style and structure to their play.
“We wish him the best for his time here.”
