Swindon Town pair Jack Payne and Mathieu Baudry are both making good progress but Saturday's trip to Colchester United will come too soon.
Both Payne and Baudry have been stepping up their respective recoveries over the past week, although tomorrow's EFL Sky Bet League Two fixture away at the U's will be a step too far for the midfielder and defender.
"Jack Payne is still progressing, but tomorrow is still too soon," Town Head Coach Ben Garner said at his pre-match press conference earlier today.
"Mathieu Baudry has had another good week but tomorrow is probably a touch too soon for him because we don't want to take a chance after the amount of work he's done to come back.
"Both of them are progressing really well and, as I've said before, they are two fantastic pros who do everything they possibly can and it has been great to have them in and around the group again."
