Swindon Town Football Club is seeking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and ambitious people to join its Youth Academy programme with this Academy Sports Scientist role with the club.
Job description:
- To be responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of strength and conditioning programmes for Academy aged players, focusing predominantly on the U18 age group. Also, to collect and evaluate physical and physiological data to monitor the impact of training and competition.
- To develop and deliver individualised strength and conditioning programmes for Academy players, primarily (but not exclusively) in the U18 squad.
- To assist with the provision of sport science and strength & conditioning across all squads within the Academy.
Applicants must be committed to the multi-disciplinary development and education of young people, have a thirst for lifelong learning and be fully committed to their own self-development.
