Town's initial opponents in both of the EFL's cup competitions are to be confirmed on 23rd June.
With Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle confirmed as opponents for Town in Group E of the Papa John's Trophy southern section, Thursday's EFL announcements will reveal which Premier League academy side will make up the last remaining space in the group.
Thursday will also mark the Carabao Cup 1st Round Draw. Swindon Town are ball number 32 in the southern section, and fans can watch the draw live on Sky Sports.
