In what is a group containing familiar and local opponents, the Reds will be hoping for cup success in the 2022/23 Papa John's Trophy competition.
Town will once again have the chance to take on newly-promoted and local rivals Bristol Rovers in the group phase, and will be taking on Plymouth Argyle for the third time in the last four seasons in the competition.
The group will be completed by the academies of one of the clubs:
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton and Hove Albion, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United.
