With all EFL Sky Bet League Two competitors now confirmed for the 2022/23 season, Town fans can start looking ahead to key clashes ahead of the fixture announcement on the 23rd June.
Grimsby Town's Wembley heroics saw them emerge 2-1 winners versus Solihull Moors, securing The Mariners as the latest and final addition to the EFL Sky Bet League Two for the upcoming season. Joining them will be National League champions, Stockport County.
The closest away visit will see The Reds travel 59.7 miles, crossing the border into Wales to take on Newport County at the Rodney Parade stadium. The fixture should make for exciting viewing, with the sides having faced off against each other 3 times last season. Town will be hoping for a repeat of last season's away fixture against The Exiles, which saw all three points return to SN1 in what was a hard-fought 2-1 victory.
Along with being one of the many voyages up north scheduled for Town, the away fixture versus Carlisle United is also set to be the longest trip for travelling Town fans to undertake in the 2022/23 season. The 269 mile journey to Brunton Park last season proved to be thoroughly worthwhile, however, as Swindon Town emerged 3-0 winners in what was a fantastic display of attacking football.
Have a look at the list below to see all of the teams the SN1 Robins will be taking on in the 2022/23 season, along with how far away each club's stadium is to The County Ground.
