In an enjoyable evening for all, Town fans had the opportunity to meet, and even be served by, some of their favourite players
On Tuesday 29th March, Wagamama released their new summer menu and invited STFC along for an exclusive taste and a hands-on workshop experience. With ssambap and mocktail making stations all set up upon arrival, Dion Conroy, Jack Payne, Lewis Ward, Joe Tomlinson and Louie Barry were able to get stuck in and compete against each other to create the best dish from Wagamama's new menu. Payne emerged triumphant, and earned the chef's seal of approval.
After this, the Town players put a shift in at Wagamamas serving food and drink, along with signing autographs and posing for photos with fans in the restaurant.
With new salads, sides, and drinks now on their menu, we recommend Town fans head down to Wagamama Swindon for a visit as soon as you can!
Club captain, Dion Conroy, spoke to swindontownfc.co.uk following the evening's festivities.
"The food was amazing, had a great experience meeting all the fans", Conroy said.
