Club Statement on Ticket-Related Issues

Swindon Town Football Club would like to issue the following statement in regards to ticket-related issues and a zero tolerance approach to abuse of staff.

We have taken the decision to only allow Season Ticket Holders and 6 Game Membership Holders to buy tickets online at the same time, due to the way our system was set up at the start of the season. Enabling a similar window for Loyalty Points Holders would cause inconsistencies and potential errors. We are fully aware that this is not ideal, especially due to high demand for Playoff tickets, and we will fully endeavour that things are done differently before next season so that this issue will not arise in the future. However, this does mean that due to the short turnaround we will only have the on-sale windows as stated.

On a related note, we urge all supporters to please refrain from contacting staff on personal phones, emails and social media accounts to complain about work-related issues. Additionally, abusive behaviour towards staff in person and over the phone will not be tolerated. All staff at the club work tirelessly to offer the best service they can and shouldn't have to deal with any form of abuse from customers.
