Swindon Town Football Club would like to release the following statement in regards to this weekend's fixture against Walsall.
Swindon Town Football Club did look into the possibility of screening the Walsall v Swindon EFL Sky Bet League Two fixture at the Legends Lounge of The County Ground on Saturday to help with the disappointment many fans are suffering with their inability to purchase a ticket.
With the use of iFollow on Club facilities not legal, we worked with the EFL to look at incorporating a beamback screen into the Legends Lounge but, unfortunately, the installation time limit and cost was prohibitive for the Club to be able to proceed.
We can only apologise to our fan base for not being able to deliver but, in conjunction with the EFL, we did look at the options but we were unable to make it possible at this time.
