Awards Dinner Summary

Swindon Town forward Harry McKirdy walked away with three awards at the Club's End of Season Awards Dinner on Wednesday night.

The Presentation Dinner, which was organised and hosted by the Official Swindon Town Supporters Club, honoured the best of the best from the 2021-22 EFL Sky Bet League Two season.

And, perhaps not coming as a surprise, McKirdy cleaned up as he was presented with three awards after a superb season in which he has scored over 20 goals and contributed more than 10 assists in all competitions.

The dynamic forward won the Official Supporters Club's Player of the Season Award, the Swindon Advertiser Swindon Town Player of the Year Award and the Goal of the Season Award for his fine strike against Manchester City in the Emirates FA Cup.

On what was a busy night for Awards, Louis Reed was recognised for his dominant year in midfield by being crowned the Disabled Supporters Club's Player of the Season and the prestigious Players' Player of the Year Award.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden, who spent a hugely successful loan spell at SN1 earlier in the season, was crowned the Swindon Town Young Player of the Season.

And, finally, Jack Payne won the SAS Travel Away Player of the Season with travelling coach members given one vote after each away game and the top five scoring points that counted towards an overall league table.
