Chippenham sign Parsons on loan

Young Town striker heads to Bluebirds for second spell…

29 October 2022

Swindon Town youngster Harry Parsons has joined Chippenham Town on a short-term loan deal.

The 20-year-old will stay at Hardenhuish Park until the end of January 2023 in a bid to get some regular game time.

The move marks Parsons’ second spell at the National League South side, having spent two months of the last campaign at the club, scoring five times in just seven appearances.

The forward has also featured in National League North this season, having joined Banbury United on loan at the end of August before being recalled earlier this month.

He netted twice in six games for The Puritans in league victories over Southport and Scarborough Athletic.

Parsons has been with Swindon since 2011, signing a scholarship in 2019 and making his debut in November of that year in an EFL Trophy clash with Bristol Rovers.

The club will monitor his progress closely and we wish him all the best over the coming months.
