Loan Round-Up: Differing weeks for Town loanees

30 August 2023

An update on several members of the Swindon first-team and academy squads' involvements for their loan clubs.

Tomi Adeloye

The forward came off the bench in an unfortunate 4-0 away defeat in the Scottish Cup vs Hearts.

Adeloye was also an unused sub in his loan side's 3-1 win against Queen's Park last weekend.

Ricky Aguiar

The midfielder has continued his successful start to life on loan with Worthing, playing in their previous four games since the last round-up, scoring four times in four games.

A strong 4-1 win over Slough saw the 22-year-old get his second and third goals since rejoining the Rebels, before an unfortunate 2-1 defeat at home to Aveley in his fourth game.

Aguiar didn't score in the next game against Dover but did add to his assist tally in a 2-0 away win at the Crabble.

Most recently, he found his goal-scoring touch again with a well-taken finish in his latest game against Weymouth in a 2-0 home victory.

Sonny Hart

Having previously featured for Gloucester against Blyth Spartans and Bishop's Stortford in the Vanarama National League North, the young defender has now returned from his short-term loan spell.

Since returning to Town, Hart recently featured in the 2-2 draw in the EFL Trophy against Arsenal U21s, as well as appearances in the U18s fixtures over the weekend, including the 4-1 win against Oxford last weekend.

Harvey Fox

After a short spell with the local non-league side Swindon Supermarine, Fox has now returned to Town, as he looks for more first-team match minutes across the 23/24 season.

The left-back had previously appeared in a 7-2 defeat to Poole Town for his first time out with Supermarine before being named as an unused substitute in a 4-2 defeat against Walton & Hersham.

Archie Milne

After being named as an unused substitute for loan side Corsham Town against Brimscombe & Thrupp, the young defender has continued to fight for a place in the starting line-up, with his side looking to continue their current impressive four-game unbeaten run.
