Swindon Town are delighted to announce the signing of defender Udoka Godwin-Malife, subject to EFL approval.
The 23-year-old started his career with National League side Oxford City, before making the EFL switch to Forest Green back in January 2019 having made over 30 appearances in the National League system between the ages of 17 to 19.
A brief spell with Eastleigh came the way of Godwin-Malife too as he looked to push for a regular first-team spot, which he would certainly go on to achieve in most recent seasons.
Godwin-Malife became a mainstay for the majority of his time with FGR, including their maiden season in League One last season where the young defender made 25 appearances.
The versatile defender has also accumulated over 80 appearances in the fourth tier of English football, including a memorable 2021-22 season, where he achieved promotion as champions with Forest Green.
Godwin-Malife will be looking to replicate this kind of success with Swindon next season as he becomes Town's fifth signing after Murphy Mahoney, Dan Kemp, Liam Kinsella and Jake Young have all signed the dotted line.
