Swindon Town Women are delighted to announce the signing of wing-back Billie Haynes on a two-year-contract, subject to FA approval.
The 25-year-old joins the club after making of fifty appearances for Cheltenham Town since joining there from Aston Villa. The versatile wing-back, who can play left wing-back, left-back and left wing, also has experience at West Bromwich Albion and Wolves.
Swindon Town Women’s Manager, Mike Cook said: “Billie is an attacking wide forward who brings us a lot of balance to the left side of the pitch.”
“She has experience of gaining promotion from tier four to tier three and she will be a great asset for the team moving forward.”
Upon joining the club, Billie said: “I’m really happy to be here and after speaking to Mike, some of the players and understanding the vision of the club moving forward it was a no brainer.”
“I’m really looking forward to being part of the progression of the football club, and ultimately it was a move I couldn’t turn down.”
