Swindon Town are delighted to announce that Emison Evans has committed to the club ahead of the 2023/24 season, subject to FA approval.
The 17-year-old joined us from Melksham in January earlier this year, making ten appearances scoring four times.
Before signing for Town, the forward had scored 14 goals in six games for Melksham in the Wiltshire County Women Premier Division – the seventh tier of women’s football.
Emison Evans commented on extending her stay with Town: “I’m very happy to be part of Swindon Town this season and looking forward to playing alongside my teammates and some of the new faces again.”
“It’s been great getting to know Mike. He seems to have a clear vision for the club and is determined to help us progress individually and as a team.”
“Pre season is going well and I’m sure it will be a good but challenging season as we push for promotion.”
Manager, Mike Cook said: “Emison is a great addition for us, she’s only a young player but has plenty of potential and will continue to be a key player for us next season.”
