Swindon Town midfielder Ricky Aguiar has joined National League South side Worthing on loan, subject to EFL approval.
The 22-year-old, who penned a new deal at The County Ground running until 2025 heads to The Rebels on a season-long loan to gain some regular game time.
The former Shoreham, Lewes and Worthing graduate joined Swindon Town back in August 2021, and has made twenty-four league appearances for the club.
During that time, he’s netted two goals, with both coming in a 5-0 home thrashing of Walsall in League Two back in February last year.
This latest move signals the third time Aguiar has gone out on loan, having spent a very productive spell at neighbours Chippenham Town, where he scored seven times in thirteen outings and spent part of last season at Torquay United.
Adam Hinshellwood’s side are next in action tomorrow with in a pre-season friendly against Isthmian League Premier North Division winners Hashtag United.
