Forward heads to Glasgow on a season-long loan

27 July 2023

Swindon Town forward Tomi Adeloye has joined Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle on a season-long loan, subject to EFL approval and international clearance.

The 27-year-old, who joined Town at the start of last season, heads back to Scotland on a season-long loan to gain regular game time.

The former Ayr United forward joined Swindon Town back in July 2022 and has made 15 league appearances for the club.

During that time, he found the back of the net once, with his only league goal for the club coming in a 2-1 away defeat to Newport County back in April earlier this year.

Adeloye returns to Scotland on loan, hoping to rediscover the form that saw him score 14 goals in 38 games for Ayr United, a record that enticed Town to sign the 27-year-old originally.

Kris Doolan’s side are next in action this Saturday with a Scottish League Cup group stage game away to Spartans FC.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish Tomi all the best over the coming weeks, and we look forward to monitoring his progress over the course of the 2023-24 season.
